Dual-Frequency Responsive Microwave Absorber for Wireless LAN Using a Plaster Board and a Resistive Film

Abstract(in English) In this reserch, we designed a wave absorber corresponding to both frequencies of 2.45GHz (IEEE 802.11g) and 5.2GHz (IEEE 802.11a) using a plasterboard and a resistive film. Two kinds of wave absorbers with 22mm and 50mm types are composed by using plasterboards with standard thickness. And the amount of absorption was measured using the sample. As a result, 22mm type is amount of absorption from 14dB to 15dB and 50mm type is amount of absorption from 18dB to 25dB. Therefore, the validity of the design is confirmed experimentally.
