Abstract(in English) In this paper, based on the lumped-element circuit of a composite shunt resonator, a novel compact microstrip composite resonator is proposed. A method for extracting element parameters of a microstrip composite resonator from its electromagnetic frequency response is developed after implementing circuit analysis of the composite lumped-element resonator. A two-degree microstrip bandpass filter using composite resonators is designed which has a midband frequency of 2GHz and a fractional bandwidth of 4%. The simulated frequency response of the filter using an electromagnetic simulator agrees well with that predicted by the circuit model of the filter.
