Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The data-processing technology based on stochastic models has progressed using some theoretical tools; statistics, probability theory, information theory and also mathematics, and contributed the construction of a careful theory and wide range applications. In this paper, using information measures defined on a class of the functions not necessary probability distributions, we mention an information-theoretic approach to the phase problem for structure analysis. And we describe some related works and discuss a tendency of complex-valued information theory hereafter.
