Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Dynamic Parameter Controlled Orthogonal Frequency and Time Division Multiple Access (DPC-OF/TDMA), which has been proposed for the next generation mobile communication system on the basis of OFDMA technique, adopts one-cell reuse TDMA technique for the achievement of the higher frequency utilization efficiency. Previously, we have proposed maximum likelihood estimation for frame control massage slots to make handovers accurately even at the cell boundaries in the DPC-OF/TDMA system. However, it is known that channel fluctuation deteriorates the performance of the wireless systems under a rapid fading environment. In this paper, we propose maximum likelihood estimation combined with sequentially-updated channel estimation to track the channel fluctuation for the frame control message slots. Computer simulation evaluates the error rate performance of the slots in the DPC-OF/TDMA system.
