Abstract(in English) | We have prepared ZnS:Cu, Cl phosphor thin-films by a molecular beam deposition method. We used CuCl as a source material of Cu and controlled the Cu density by adjusting the cell temperature. As the Cu density was increased, the intensity of blue and green emission increased. However, the thin film with high Cu density colored, and absorption in a visible spectral range occurred. By using a thicker film with relatively low Cu density, we achieved both transparency in the visible range and hig h excitation efficiency in near-ultraviolet range (360~390nm). |
