| Abstract(in English) | Improvement in luminescent characteristics of blue emitting Ba_2SiS_4:Ce phosphors has been attempted. The crystallinity of Ba_2SiS_4 host is improved by secondary firing with additional Si. The PL excitation intensity due to direct excitation band of Ce^<3+> centers is also increased by adding Li as charge compensator at the secondary firing. |
