Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Metamaterials including a Double NeGative (DNG) Material are new artificial materials composed of dielectric, magnetic, or metallic materials which exhibit novel characteristics that may not be found in nature. These media are applied to an artificial dielectric lens, microwave components, antennas and so on. On the other hand, a rectangular coordinate representation of the dyadic Green's function for one-dimensional inhomogeneous DNG medium has been obtained, and has high applicability for an arbitrarily shaped linear antenna. In this paper, an input impedance of a horizontal dipole antenna above the lossless DNG slab was calculated using the dyadic Green's function and the method of moment for a first step to analyze the arbitrary liner antenna. An evaluation technique of Sommerfeld integral was also studied.
