Abstract(in English) | In order to increase the simulation accuracies with FDTD method, it is often required to use higher grid resolution with fine grids. The subgridding method can increase the accuracy of the FDTD simulation. However, it requires interpolation in respect to both time and space in order to transfer the fields from the coarse-grid to the fine-grid. While this interpolation process may cause the difficult stability problems, it has not been studied for the practical antenna system applications, so far. In this report, the application conditions of subgridding method for the analysis of Yagi-Uda antennas placed in the vicinity of building structures has been studied and investigated. |
