Abstract(in English) | We have developed the reconstruction method based on the Barzilai-Borwein steepest descent method for the 2D inverse scattering problem and discussed its validity in the past. To solve the nonlinear and ill-posed problem, we propose an iterative scheme for reconstructing a cylindrical object using multifrequency scattering data in this article. We introduce the edge-preserving regularization to the scheme in order to improve the reconstructed result. We show the validity of present scheme by comparing with the scheme using the conjugate gradient method in numerical examples for a lossless dielectric cylinder. |
