Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For achieving smooth communications between the person and the intelligent robot, it is important that the intelligent robot understands the meaning of the word and expresses the result by the face's expression and hands and feet's action. This paper proposes the method to control the robot's expression and action that seizes, grasps, or holds some object, appropriately by understanding the meaning of the speaker's word. In this method, the robot analyzes the input text by natural language and understands the meaning, then gets the information necessary for a series of action by referring to the action definition knowledge base, and enables the action making according to various situations by using GA.
