Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It proposes the semantic closeness quantification technique between documents that is applied to information retrieval and the document classification. This proposed technique is a quantification technique for not the quantification of the degree of the relations between documents in the notation of words alone but including even the meaning of the word. Concretely, strength of the relations between documents is quantified using the concept-base that registers the semantic attributes with weights and the degree of association. It is a technique which is considered a word meaning relation like the synonym and the compound word, etc. comparing with the method of notation coincidence. This proposed technique is evaluated by NTCIR2 to compare vector space model and it is shown that the proposed technique has several percents accuracy more than vector space model.
