Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) On visible light communication, we must take extra effort to communicate bi-directionally. It is because we use different devices for transmitting and receiving. We generally use Light Emitting Diode (LED) or Laser Diode (LD) as the optical transmitter and Photo Diode (PD) as the optical receiver. To communicate bi-directionally, we have to set LED and PD on both sides. In this paper, we propose bi-directional communicating system using only LEDs. It is proved that LEDs have low receiving characteristics, so we can communicate bi-directionally to use LEDs. Moreover, we propose receiving light by LED array. This will improve the receiving characteristics of LEDs.
