Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A strategy to realize the tropospheric delay correction of the GPS signals is reported. The tropospheric delay is one of the major error sources of the positioning using GPS. In the augmentation experiment using the Quasi-Zenith Satellite System it is newly aimed to realize the correction system of the tropospheric delay. A statistical evaluation using the real datum of GPS and the results of the GPS network analyses is conducted to clarify its feasibility. As a result, through some attempt to minimize the size of the correction message with appropriate correction accuracy, it is clarified that it is possible to send the sufficient correction message within only 2 minutes to the users.
