Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To improve safety and efficiency in airports, Advance Surveillance Management Guidance and Control System(A-SMGCS) has been developed in Europe and the U.S. To prepare deployment of A-SMGCS in Japan, Electronic Navigation Research Institute (ENRI) started preliminary research on A-SMGCS since. 2004. A-SMGCS composes of four main functions (surveillance, control, routing and guidance). Surveillance plays the most important role in these functions since it provides essential information to other three functions. In this report, we first introduce structure and process of surveillance function of ENRI's A-SMGCS test system. Then, we show results of tests in Haneda and Sendai Airport.
