Target Tracking Using TDOA/FDOA Measurements in the Distributed Sensor Network

Abstract(in English) This paper proposes an use of Extended Kalman filter for a single target tracking in a distributed sensor network. A conventional algorithm, target localization through TDOA(Time Difference of Arrival) measurements and linear Kalman filter cannot give full performance due to a multipath phenomenon. In our algorithm, the Extended Kalman filter uses TDOA and FDOA(Frequency Difference of Arrival) measurements directly to compute the position and velocity estimates. Through computer simulation trials, the validity of our algorithm is examined.
