Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Modified prime sequence codes (MPSCs), those are belong to a family of prime sequence codes (PSCs), are used for optical CDMA systems. Recently, a class of generalized MPSCs which includes the class of original MPSCs as its subclass, was presented. These codes, MPSCs and generalized MPSCs, have excellent cross correlation properties. Novel interference cancellation techniques have been proposed for synchronous system by using these cross correlation properties. This study analyzes the bit error rate performance of the interference canceller of optical synchronous EWO CDMA system using MPSCs and generalized MPSCs where APD and PD are used as photo detectors in consideration with shot noise, excess noise, and thermal noise.
