| 抄録(和) | 光信号を光のまま識別・再生できる全光信号再生器は重要であり、将来の超高速光ネットワークにおけるキーデバイスの1つである。そこで我々は半導体光増幅器(SOA)及び長周期グレーティングを装荷した方向性結合器を提案し、全光信号再生器の実現を目指している。本発表では素子構造・動作原理、構造設計、及び伝搬行列法(TMM)を用いた数値シミュレーションに関して報告する。解析の結果、SOAの非線形性及び波長依存同方向性結合により光信号再生が行えることを確認した。 |
| 抄録(英) | An all-optical signal regenerator that can regenerate and reshape the signals seems important, and will be one of the key devices in future ultra-fast optical networks. We propose a directional coupler loaded with a semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA) and a long-period grating and aim at realizing an all-optical signal regenerator. We would like to report on the device structure, the operation principle, the structural design and the operation performance analyzed using the time-dependent transfer matrix method (TMM). As a result, we confirmed the potential as an optical signal regenerator by utilizing nonlinearity of an SOA and a wavelength-selective directional coupler. |
