Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We numerically show the possibility of generating bi-soliton in stretched pulse fiber ring laser, initiated with a low peak single Gaussian pulse. Although its origin is still mysterious at present, simulations show that within a certain parameter range, single Gaussian pulse evolution is sure to converge to a stable bi-soliton. We also study the effects of higher order nonlinear gain coefficient to the parameters of generating bi-soliton.
