| 抄録(和) | 本稿では,高齢者における音声単語認知能力を,聴力損失と言語能力から考察する.64歳から83歳までの男女32名(男14名,女18名)の健常高齢者に対し,聴力測定,単語テスト(日本版WAIS-IIIの「単語」),漢字単語の読み能力テスト(百羅漢),音声単語了解度テストを実施した.その結果,単語了解度に対し,親密度効果と呈示SN比の効果が確認されたが,両効果の交互作用はなかった.さらに,聴力レベル,WAIS-IIIの単語得点,百羅漢得点が単語了解度に影響したが,これらと親密度および呈示SN比との間に交互作用は認められなかった.以上の結果は,単語親密度,呈示SN比,聴力レベル,および語彙に代表される言語能力の各要因が,音声単語了解度に対し独立に影響を及ぼすことを示唆している. |
| 抄録(英) | This paper shows the degrees to which hearing ability and language ability influence the spoken word intelligibility of aged people. Thirty-two subjects (14 males and 18 females) participated in a spoken word intelligibility test with an adiometory test, the vocabulary test in Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale-Third Edition (WAIS-III), and 100RAKAN (Reading Ability test for KANji words). The subjects' ages ranged from 64 to 83 years. The results showed that word familiarity and presentation signal to noise ratio (SNR) had significant effects, but revealed no effects of the interaction between them. Furthermore, the main effects of hearing ability (or level of hearing loss), WAIS-III vocabulary scores and RAKAN scores of the subjects, were significant, and the interaction between these abilities and word familiarity, and between these abilities and the SNR were not significant. These results suggest that the SNR, word familiarity, hearing ability, and language ability could independently affect spoken word intelligibility. |
