Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have developed a surgical planning support system for TKA (Total Knee Arthoplasty). This system simulates TKA operations of surgeon on the computer. In our techniques, we manipulate 2D translucent templates of TKA components on radiograph images. In order to place the templates, bone reference points are very important and high precision is requested. Therefore, our system makes it possible to compute them from a radiograph image interactively and automatically. We also describe the main features and the future work in our system.
