Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | We present a fast method to extract line structures for the purpose of detecting spiculated lesions. Although existing spicule detection methods reduce computation using steerable filters, some kernels still require computationally heavy two-dimensional filtering. In our method, all the kernels are separable and thus the associated two-dimensional filtering can be efficiently performed by successive one-dimensional filtering. |
