Automatic detection of spleen and gallbladder region employing rib information

Abstract(in English) Recently, it comes to be able to acquire a medical image of a high resolution easily. A high resolution medical image taken by MDCT device has been used for CAD system. To reduce the processing time of CAD system with high resolution, segmentation is one of the important tasks in detection of multi organ from the Multi detector row CT image. In this paper, we propose a method for automatic extraction the spleen and gallbladder from the abdominal CT images.
