Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This study attempts to suggest the design of embodied communication of an embodied agent so that a user and the agent can establish equal social relationships. It is important to design human-agent social interaction to construct human-agent equal social relationships. We especially focused on body orientation of the embodied agent and depth-dimensional virtual space partitioning and location of the agent in front or back of a partition. An experiment (N=48) to examine the influence of these factors to performance of work (picture recollection task) and impression of the agent was conducted. The result of the experiment suggested existence of the different influence between the body orientation and the depth-dimensional virtual space partitioning to the performance of the work and the impression of the agent.
