Abstract(in English) | In this paper, in order to utilize computing and network resources effectively in optical grid, we proposed a dynamic resource management method with PID control. In the proposed method, the bandwidth of lightpaths which are established or released dynamically is considered as dynamic constraint condition, and PID control is used in order to utilized computing resource effectively. Moreover, a lightpath establishment/release mechanism cooperates with PID control and network resource is utilized effectively. We evaluate the performance of the proposed method with simulation and compare the performance of the proposed method with that of the conventional method where the number of used lightpaths are reserved in advance. Prom simulation results, we show that our proposed method decreases the number of the used lightpaths and it utilizes effectively not only network resource but also computing resource. |
