ID-based Encryption Scheme with Two Dimensional Hierarchical Structure Based on the l-BDHE Assumption

Abstract(in English) Users with a hierarchical structure are represented by a tree structure in many cases. In this paper, we consider a two dimensional space with x, y coordinate, each integer point of which corresponds to a user in check. By using it we represent a hierarchical structure of user with two dimensional direction of x, y coordinate in which a user with coordinate less or equal to that of another user in both direction is an ancestor of it. We propose an ID-based encryption scheme in which ancestors can decrypt a ciphertext to a descendant, but the sender can control which ancestors can decrypt it with x, y coordinate.
