Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this report, we describe an application of the frequency-dependent transmission-line model to INDUCTWISE and fast transient analysis. Applying first-order Debye model to the equivalent frequency-dependent transmission-line model causes significant increase of the number of nodes in modified nodal equation. This fact implies that the enormous computation time is required for the simulation. However, INDUCTWISE achieves faster analysis than the conventional simulators by using Cholesky decomposition instead of LU decomposition. Finally, some example simulations with the frequency-dependent equivalent transmission-line models are performed by INDUCTWISE and other conventional method. From the simulation results, the validity and the efficiency of the present method are verified.
