Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs) of K signals recovered by the Independent Component Analysis (ICA), namely passed through the ICA filter, are calculated numerically and analytically. We can estimate the SNRs for any kind of signals passed through the ICA filter by using these analytical forms. The SNR of K signals depends only on the convergence property of the statistical average of the signals. We investigate the SNRs of the chaotic signals generated by Chebyshev map with the ICA filter concretely. It is found that these quantities with the ICA filter are much larger than those of the original signals although the waveforms of the signals passed through the ICA filter are almost the same as those of the original signals. Using this effect, we can generate much more useful speading sequences used in CDMA.
