Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents the scope of our communication/media project focusing on chaos and nonlinear studies. Firstly, we explain the aim and the background of the project. How our three, with totally different backgrounds, encountered at a newly established university and why this interdisciplinary project was launched are explained. Secondly, significance of the project in science communication, public understanding of science, science education etc. is discussed. Thirdly, implication of the project in studying history of science is discussed, showing an intention to shed light on so-called "chaos revolution." Finally, several open questions for the future concerning nonlinear study are cast together with our questions about the future of human society.
