Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Users' contributions are inevitable in peer-to-peer (P2P) services such as information sharing because P2P systems do not work without resources provided by users. However, in mobile P2P information sharing, users are not willing to provide their own resources because of the limitation of the mobile terminals. One solution is giving incentive to contributors, where the contributors can obtain higher quality of service (QoS) than free riders. In wireless access networks, however, it is difficult to guarantee incentive because of the fluctuation of throughput and delay. In this paper, we propose a new incentive mechanism for mobile P2P information sharing using wireless QoS control techniques. Computer simulation results validate our mechanism.
