Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A new precise radiation pressure model of ETS-VIII has been developed. Numerical model of satellite, i.e. a set of polygons, is made by use of 3D CG software. The light source of the Sun is considered to be an array of pixels. Light from each pixel is traced and determined whether it intersects with polygons or not. The light from the pixel which intersects with a polygon is considered to cause the pressure on the polygon. The radiation pressure by each ray pixel is vector summed to get the acceleration of the satellite. According to this precise model, a "Macro Model" which consists of 12 flat plates were also developed.
