Abstract(in English) As is shown in the decision of the MLIT(Ministry of Land Infrastructure and Transport) dealing with frequent accidents and incidents in land, sea and air transport systems, triggered by a tragic disaster happened at 2005 in the JR West Japan, ergonomics is contributing to establish new safety management system based on the concept that safety is secured by dealing with preventing systems error rather than dealing with human error.
