Abstract(in English) Current CS digital broadcasting service was started in 1996 and it developed until over 4 million subscribers now. The other hand, more capacity transmission system is expected like terrestrial digital broadcasting, responding to high demand of HDTV for CS digital broadcasting. One example is DVB-S.2 and H.264|MPEG4 AVC combination system, which is already used for the HDTV satellite broadcasting in some foreign countries. To confirm and evaluate information coding characteristics of this system, the picture evaluation test is carried out on March of 2006, and is reported by this paper.
