Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper introduces several examples of applications that use mobile-camera-image-based pattern recognition techniques. The first two examples show information retrieval/access services that use a camera mounted on a mobile phone. The next two examples show that pattern recognition techniques can yield a highly realistic sensation. An eye-tracking algorithm realizes a full-parallax 3D display, and a video see-through HMD realizes an alter-ego interface using a robot.
