Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this report, we investigate the effects of inter-destination (or group) synchronization control, which adjusts the output timing among multiple destinations, in a remote drawing instruction system using haptic media by subjective assessment. Under the control, an instructor and a learner can draw figures while watching the identical virtual space. As a result of subjective assessment, we demonstrate that the MOS value of the instructor can be improved greatly at the expense of the slight deterioration in the MOS value of the learner. Also, we report that the MOS value of the learner can be improved by reducing the spring constant.
