Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is a method of measuring inductance of choke coils and transformers used in high current switching circuits. Due to magnetic hysteresis, inductance values would depend on electric current. Using an additional transient current switch and a condenser in a switching circuit, the transient current and the voltage for the inductive load are measured. The equivalent circuit including the current depending inductance is assumed. We set up the simultaneous equations for the certain current value and derive the equivalent values of components by numerical calculation. The estimated value for a typical choke coil are applied to circuit analysis software SPICE, and show good argument with the experimental result.
