Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Orthogonal STBC causes a problem, transmission rate decreasing with the multiplication of antennas. Using Quasi-Orthogonal STBC, while decoding is complicated, we can solve this problem. Moreover, allocating the redundancy of FEC to the rate difference between Orthogonal STBC and Quasi-Orthogonal STBC in order to achieve higher quality communication of the same rate with Orthogonal STBC. This paper proposes a scheme to decode Quasi-Orthogonal STBC and convolutional codes at the same time, and estimate its scheme in the aspect of BER.
