Abstract(in English) | In this report, we propose a random beamforming achieving a large system capacity and fairness among users in multiuser multi-antenna Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) system. In the proposed random beam forming, each user feeds back its signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratios (SINRs) of all the beams of each subcarrier for random unitary matrix. The base station (BS) finds the highest SINR for each beam of each subcarrier. Then, the BS computes the summation of SINR of subcarrier for each beam. The BS determines the number of beams of each subcarrier that allocated to the users with the highest SINR, and allocates the beams of each subcarrier to the users in the order corresponding to the beam with the highest SINR. The rest of the beams of each subcarrier are allocated to users by proportional fairness (PF) for decreasing the difference of capacity among users. We show that the proposed random beam forming can adjust the system capacity and the fairness among users by changing the number of beams of each subcarrier that it allocates to the users with the highest SINR. We also show that the proposed random beamforming allocating the beams of each subcarrier to the users in the order corresponding to the beam with the highest SINR can achieve more fairness than random beam forming allocating the beams of each subcarrier to the users randomly. |
