Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The wave absorber formed by arranging cylindrical bars periodically composed of magnetic loss covers and metallic bars has been proposed for improving ETC environment, and good characteristics of reflection loss and shielding effect were confirmed in the past work. In this paper, metallic mesh is arranged behind the cylindrical bars for improving visibility, and various characteristics are evaluated. As a result, when the gap is 30mm, reflection loss of -10dB or more is confirmed at the incident angle ranging from 5 to 50degrees for circularly polarized wave. Moreover, shielding effect of -25dB or more is also obtained at the incident angle ranging from 0 to 30degrees in the same condition. Therefore, cylindrical bars arranged metallic mesh with good characteristics and visibility can be realized.
