Abstract(in English) The "Magical Spoon" is an educational program to promote understanding for information science. The features of this educational program are as follows: 1) learner participates in information processing as a software engineer, and 2) learner performs some functions of an information system. By using this program, a learner will be able to perceive experientially the role/purpose/function of encoding/decoding of information, and information processing in a computer. A learner also will be able to assimilate the mechanism of information processing in a practical manner.
