Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Through a programming exercise lesson, students can get to make programs, but they did not understand how to test their programs so well as to meet the requirements. To get students a skill of testing their programs by themselves, we propose a learning method of testing Java programs. We provide a navigation process of testing programs, so that they can learn how to decide an order of unit testing for all methods of a program. In this process, they also learn to define test cases for each method and to make the unit test programs. We have developed a tool that supports the process and provides students with several different levels of navigation hints so as to navigate according to their understanding of testing process.
