Abstract(in English) The Ubiquitous Image ID System provides related information to playback movies, by detecting invisibly embedded IDs from real-time captured videos using camera-equipped mobile terminals. This system requires a fast and accurate rectangle tracking technique to cope with geometric transformation due to the camera angle. In this paper, we propose a fast rectangle tracking method for real-time captured video on mobile terminals. Our method consists of two processes; to detect rectangle candidates in each frame, and to track inter-frame transition of rectangle using geometical characteristics of shape and size. Finally, we summarize experimental results and confirm the efficiency of our method.
