Abstract(in English) | The authors have proposed a dynamic multicast forwarding based on a channel grouping method in Gigabit Ethernet-PON (GE-PON) system. This method achieves a high-speed channel switching and an effective use of bandwidth on GE-PON, with considering a suitability of triple-play model which provides the services of data, voice, and broadcasting. In this paper, we evaluate effective use of bandwidth for multicast and a reactive speed to a demand, and show the benefit of flexibility that is configurable to any network. |
