Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The elliptic curve, which is one of topics in the number theory, has been applied to the field of information security since the elliptic curve cryptosystem was proposed in 1985. Recently, a bilinear map defined on an elliptic curve has been applied to the information security and, thus, various unsolved application such as ID-based encryption, etc have been realized. The generation of an elliptic curve with an efficient bilinear paring is related to some problems in the number theory. In this paper, we introduce the relation between the generation of elliptic curves and problems of the number theory.
