Development of a Photo-retouch tool with haptic devices

Abstract(in English) The current rapid development of computer technology makes 3D computer graphics (3DCG) and virtual reality technologies have become familiar to many users. Haptic interface are expected to bring an advanced new interaction for human-computer interface. Many researchers achieved their new style of interaction with haptic device and analyzed their work. On the other hand, techniques of blog are improved and they provide environments to construct Web contents by any users even if they are novice. So the usage of photo-retouch tool or painting tool is increased. In this paper we propose a new advanced retouch tool with haptic interface. By using a prototype of this tool, we discuss about a method of haptic rendering and display for image features.
