Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Rapid Single Flux Quantum digital-to-analog converter (RSFQ-DAC) is a candidate for the next generation of ac voltage standard. We redesigned the device parameters of a Voltage Multiplier (VM), one of the important components in RSFQ-DAC, for producing the second step. The output voltage of the 2nd-step VM is twice of that of the conventional 1st-step VM. We fabricated a 2nd-step VM circuit using optimized parameter, and measured it. We confirmed the second step of about 40μ A width on the I-V characteristics of a 2nd-step VM operated at 10GHz.
