Abstract(in English) We have developed a dynamically reconfigurable system, which uses an embedded processor FPGA. In this system, hardware is reconfigured on demand of application. However, long reconfiguration time becomes an overhead. We proposed "function sharing impromentation" on partially reconfigurable device. Same function between applications is shared before and after reconfiguration. We chose JPEG decoder and MPEG-2 video decoder as a target application and implement three functions, inverse zigzag scan, inverse quantization and IDCT. At a reconfiguration of hardware, we show that reducing a reconfiguration area and reconfiguration time by function sharing implementation.
