Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we present the benchmarks that extracts the characteristics of dynamic reconfigurable architectures to make them comparable with each other. With this benchmarks, performance of the dynamic reconfigurable architectures are more easy predicted and compared, by using the short benchmark programs each with a well defined characteristics extracted from the application program, instead of just using the whole application program. Moreover, since there are no common programming environments among the dynamic reconfigurable architectures, we decided to provide the benchmark program using a flow chart. To show the effectiveness of the proposed benchmark programs, we used the application program with low parallelism as a benchmark and evaluated its performance with the modeled dynamic reconfigurable architecture.
