Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The authors have conducted a study on Software Defined Radio-based link evaluation equipment as a part of Cognitive Radio-based intra-base stations network research activities. The SDR technology has been applied, so as to realize the detailed in-band link monitoring functions for the time- and frequency-domain measurement. An initial experiment result set shows that the frequency response of received signal can be monitored with the OFDM subcarrier data, with sufficient resolutions to see the propagation characteristics such as dual and multi-path signal reception. It has also been assessed that the developed SDR-based equipment can be applied to multiple transmission schemes such as IEEE802.11 a, j, g and 802.16e. This paper shows the SDR-based cognitive radio link evaluation equipment development, including some measurement results.
