Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This report explores new OFDM systems with variable DFT points by use of channel estimation reducing noise interferences. First, we demonstrate that the DFT size impacts on OFDM frame length to satisfy a required throughput and effects BER performance under different velocities. In low-speed mode, the high numbers of DFT points contributes to reducing noise interferences. In high-speed mode, a short frame have superior BER performance under fading channels. The optimum DFT points have been reported by use of a computer simulation. Moreover, we report improved velocity estimation.
