Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) High speed wireless communication requires not only complex baseband signal processing but also performance improvement of analog component such as a quadrature modulator, a quadrature demodulator and a power amplifier. Because of the limit of improving the performance of each analog component, many techniques to compensate for errors in analog components by using digital signal processing have been studied recently. However, these techniques have a problem that these techniques require an additional signal or path to estimate errors, and in consequence analog circuits become complex. In this paper, for compensating for errors in a quadrature modulator and a quadrature demodulator we study a separation and estimation technique by using a simple structure of using the phase shifter and confirm the convergence property of the estimation algorithm through computer simulation.
